In this blog post, I will show you how to use Lightning Link Code to link your Lightning wallet to your Twitter account. This will enable you to tip your favorite content creators, support causes you care about, or simply show off your Bitcoin skills.
Here are the steps to follow:
1. Download and install a Lightning wallet that supports Lightning Link Code. Some examples are Breez, BlueWallet, or Phoenix.
2. Open your Lightning wallet and tap on the Lightning Link Code icon. It looks like a QR code with a lightning bolt inside it.
3. Choose the service you want to link to. In this case, select Twitter.
4. Scan the QR code that appears on your screen. This will generate a unique code that you need to copy and paste into your Twitter profile.
5. Go to your Twitter profile and tap on the Edit Profile button. Paste the code into the Website field and save the changes.
6. Congratulations! You have successfully linked your Lightning wallet to your Twitter account. You can now send and receive payments using Lightning Link Code.
To send a payment, simply tap on the Lightning Link Code icon in your wallet and choose the amount you want to send. Then, scan the QR code of the recipient’s Twitter profile or enter their username manually. Confirm the payment and wait for it to be processed.
