Potential Modern Warfare 3 reveal leak of a new Warzone map : call of duty

If you’re a fan of Call of Duty: Warzone, you’ll be excited to hear that a new map is coming to the game as part of the Modern Warfare 3 reveal. The map is called “Downtown”, and it’s set in a sprawling urban area with skyscrapers, subway stations, and a central park. Here’s everything we know so far about the new Warzone map.

Downtown is the largest map in Warzone history, with a size of 9×9 km. It can accommodate up to 200 players in a single match, and features a dynamic weather system that changes throughout the game. The map also has a day-night cycle, which affects the visibility and gameplay strategies. You can expect to encounter different types of enemies and challenges depending on the time of day and the weather conditions.

The map is divided into several zones, each with its own landmarks and points of interest. Some of the zones are:

– Financial District:

This is where you’ll find the tallest buildings in the map, including the iconic Tower 42, which is a sniper’s paradise. You can also access the underground subway system from here, which connects to other parts of the map.

– Central Park:

This is a large green area in the middle of the map, where you can enjoy some nature and relax. But don’t let your guard down, as there are plenty of hiding spots and ambush opportunities for enemies. You can also find some loot crates and vehicles here.

Chinatown:

This is a colorful and vibrant zone, where you can find various shops, restaurants, and markets. You can also interact with some NPCs here, who might give you some useful information or items. But be careful, as some of them might be hostile or try to scam you.

– Industrial Zone:

This is where you’ll find factories, warehouses, and power plants. This zone is full of hazards and traps, such as explosive barrels, electric wires, and toxic waste. You’ll also have to deal with some heavy machinery and vehicles, such as cranes, trucks, and tanks.

– Residential Area:

This is where you’ll find houses, apartments, and hotels. This zone is ideal for close-quarters combat and stealth tactics. You can also loot some valuable items and weapons from the buildings, but watch out for booby traps and alarms.

 

The new Warzone map will be available for free for all players who own Modern Warfare 3, which is expected to launch later this year. The map will also be compatible with cross-play and cross-progression, meaning you can play with your friends on different platforms and keep your progress across them.
