Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the most ambitious RPGs ever made, and fans are eagerly awaiting the full release of the game, which is currently in early access. But what about the future of the game after it launches? Will there be any DLCs to expand the story, the world, and the gameplay?

In a recent interview with PC Gamer, Larian Studios founder and CEO Swen Vincke revealed that the developer has plans to create more content for Baldur’s Gate 3 after the game is finished. “We want to do more,” he said. “We have a lot of ideas for things that we can add to the game, things that we can improve, things that we can polish. We’re not going to stop working on Baldur’s Gate 3 when it’s done.”

Vincke did not give any details on what kind of DLCs Larian is considering, but he hinted that they could be similar to the ones they made for their previous RPG, Divinity: Original Sin 2. Those DLCs added new features, such as a Game Master mode, new companions, new quests, and new items. Vincke also said that Larian is open to feedback from the players and will listen to their suggestions and requests.

“We’re very much in touch with our community,” he said. “We have a very active Discord channel, we have a very active forum, we have a very active Reddit. We read everything that people write about the game. We see what they like, what they don’t like, what they want more of, what they want less of. And we take that into account when we make our decisions.”

Baldur’s Gate 3 is expected to leave early access sometime in 2022, but Vincke said that there is no fixed date yet. He said that Larian will take as much time as they need to make the game as good as possible. “We’re not going to compromise on quality,” he said. “We’re going to make Baldur’s Gate 3 the best game we can make.”

Until then, fans can enjoy the early access version of Baldur’s Gate 3, which already offers a lot of content and features. The game lets players create their own custom characters or choose from six pre-made ones, each with their own backstory and personality. The game also features a rich and immersive story, a dynamic and reactive world, a deep and tactical combat system, and a multiplayer mode that allows up to four players to cooperate or compete with each other.
